SEO / AEO

Get found in Google, and named when someone asks an AI.

Classic SEO puts you in the search results. Answer Engine Optimization gets your business named when a buyer asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude or Google's AI overview who they should call. They share most of the same work, so we do both.

The problem

Findability bolted on afterwards is the expensive way to do it.

Search visibility comes from structure, not from adding keywords at the end. And there is now a second channel you cannot see in your analytics: buyers asking an AI assistant for a recommendation and never visiting a results page at all.

  • You rank for your own business name and almost nothing else
  • Competitors appear above you for the services you actually provide
  • AI assistants describe your business wrongly, or not at all
  • You are paying a monthly SEO retainer and cannot say what changed
  • Your pages have no schema, so engines are guessing what you do
How it works

One setup, done properly, that you own afterwards.

The work starts with technical health and structure: how pages relate, how they are linked internally, what the URLs say, how quickly they load and whether a crawler can actually reach everything. Most small-business sites lose more here than they do on content.

Then schema. We add a full JSON-LD graph describing your organisation, services, prices, location and frequently asked questions. This is the layer that lets a search engine or an AI assistant state facts about you confidently rather than inferring them. It is also the single most neglected part of small-business SEO.

Then content structure for AEO. Answer engines quote passages, not pages. That means clear question-and-answer blocks, direct first sentences, specific figures rather than vague claims, and consistent naming so the entity is unambiguous. Your pricing being public helps here more than most people expect.

What we do not do is sell you a monthly retainer to keep doing the same setup. This is a one-time implementation delivered with your site. Ongoing monitoring exists as a separate, optional, month-to-month service if you want someone watching it.

What you get

Deliverables, stated plainly.

Everything below is agreed in writing before work starts, so scope never becomes a surprise invoice.

Technical audit and fixes

Crawlability, indexation, speed, mobile behaviour, redirects, sitemap and robots configuration.

Full JSON-LD schema

Organisation, service, offer, breadcrumb and FAQ markup so engines and AI can read your business accurately.

On-page optimisation

Titles, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy and internal linking across every page we build.

AEO content structure

Question-and-answer blocks written to be quoted, with direct answers and specific, checkable detail.

Local relevance

Where it applies, location and service-area signals plus Google Business Profile alignment.

Baseline report

Where you stand at launch, so any later change can be measured against something real.

Which package covers this? On-site SEO and AEO setup is included in every build, from Starter ($799) upward, at no extra charge. If your site already exists and you do not need a rebuild, the AEO Retrofit ($1,450) does this work on what you have.

How it connects

This is where buying it alone falls short.

On its own this still helps. Bought with the others, the decisions stop contradicting each other.

Your website

Structure is the largest ranking factor we control. Building the site and the search setup together removes the retrofit entirely.

Your brand

Consistent naming and clear positioning are what let an AI assistant describe you correctly instead of hedging.

Automation

Being found is only half of it. Automated follow-up means the visibility turns into an answered enquiry.

FAQ

Questions about seo / aeo.

SEO gets you ranked in the classic search results. AEO, or Answer Engine Optimization, gets you quoted by AI assistants and voice search. GEO, or Generative Engine Optimization, gets you cited inside AI-written summaries such as Google's AI overviews. They overlap heavily, which is why we treat them as one piece of work rather than three products.

No. The setup is one-time and included in your build. Optional Website Monitor at $395 a month covers ongoing monitoring, reporting and content and schema updates after launch, and it is month-to-month with no contract.

No, and you should be careful with anyone who does. Rankings depend on competition, domain history and factors nobody controls. What we can promise is that the technical foundation is done correctly and that you can see exactly what was implemented.

Schema and AI-citation changes often appear within one to four weeks once your site is recrawled. Classic ranking movement usually takes four to twelve weeks and depends heavily on how competitive your market is.

Then the useful question is what they have actually shipped. Ask them for your schema markup and your technical audit. If neither exists after several months of retainer, that tells you something.
