Branding

Say what you do clearly enough that people repeat it.

A brand is not a logo. It is whether a buyer can explain your value to someone else after one visit. We start with positioning, because a beautiful identity attached to a vague promise still does not sell.

The problem

Most rebrands fix the surface and leave the confusion underneath.

New colours and a new logo feel like progress. But if the underlying answer to who you are for and why them has not changed, you have repainted a building with a bad floor plan.

  • You describe what you do differently every time you are asked
  • Prospects compare you to competitors you do not think you are like
  • Your materials were made at different times and look it
  • The team writes in whatever voice feels right that day
  • You compete on price because nothing else obviously separates you
How it works

Positioning, then identity, then standards.

Positioning comes first: who you are for, what you do, what you do differently, and what you are deliberately not. That last one matters most. A brand that tries to appeal to everyone gives a buyer nothing to hold onto.

Then messaging. A short set of statements you can actually use, in the words your buyers use. Not an internal manifesto that never leaves the document, but the sentences you will say on calls and put at the top of pages.

Identity follows from that. Logo, colour, typography, spacing, iconography and component behaviour, built as a system rather than a set of one-off assets, so the twentieth thing you make still looks like the first.

Finally, written standards. Rules for how the system gets applied, so a printer, a contractor or a future hire can produce something on-brand without guessing.

What you get

Deliverables, stated plainly.

Everything below is agreed in writing before work starts, so scope never becomes a surprise invoice.

Positioning statement

Category, buyer, differentiation and the alternatives you are chosen against, stated in one page.

Messaging framework

Headline, value statements, proof points and objection handling you can use in sales conversations.

Visual identity

Logo system with lockups for every context, colour palette with usage rules, and a full type scale.

Component system

Buttons, cards, forms and layout patterns so digital work stays consistent as it grows.

Written standards

A brand guide covering correct use, clear space, minimum sizes, accessibility and production notes.

Production files

Vector artwork in every format you need, outlined properly so it renders identically everywhere.

Which package covers this? The full brand system is included in Growth System ($5,400). Starter and Foundation build to a brand you already have. If you are unsure whether your current identity is the real problem, the free review will tell you.

How it connects

This is where buying it alone falls short.

On its own this still helps. Bought with the others, the decisions stop contradicting each other.

Your website

The site is where the brand does most of its work. Designing both together means the system is proven, not theoretical.

Search and AI

Consistent naming and clear positioning make you easier for search engines and AI assistants to describe accurately.

Sales material

Proposals, decks and one-pagers built on the same system stop looking like they came from three different companies.

FAQ

Questions about branding.

A logo is one asset. A brand system is the positioning behind it plus the rules that keep every future asset consistent. Buying a logo alone is why most small businesses end up with materials that do not match.

Often just the website. If your positioning is clear and your identity is serviceable, spending on a rebrand is the wrong priority. We would rather tell you that than sell you the bigger package.

Yes, including editable vector source files. Your wordmark is delivered as outlined vectors so it renders identically everywhere, regardless of which fonts are installed on a given machine.

It runs inside the Growth System timeline of three to five weeks. Positioning takes the longest because it depends on decisions only you can make, so the more decisive you are, the faster it moves.
